VIKTOR SALENIUS

Viktor studies how different organisations drive innovation for the green transition, especially in energy-intensive industry sectors such as steelmaking and hydrogen.

He is supervised by Richard Cuthbertson of Saïd Business School and Professor Xiaolan Fu of the University’s Department of International Development.

Before his doctoral study, Viktor worked as a research policy analyst, writing reports on innovation and sustainability for the Nordic Council of Ministers and the EU Joint Research Centre. He was also a trainee at the EU delegation to the United Nations in New York, assisting multilateral negotiations in sustainable development as well as science, technology and innovation. Viktor holds a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the London School of Economics (2018) and an MPhil in Innovation, Strategy and Organisation from the University of Cambridge (2020).
