PROFESSOR XIAOLAN FU APPOINTED TO UN HIGH-LEVEL ADVISORY BOARD

Professor Xiaolan Fu, founder of the TIDE Centre, has been appointed to the United Nations High-level Advisory Board on Economic and Social Affairs

The TIDE Centre is delighted to share that Professor Xiaolan Fu, founder of the TIDE Centre, has been appointed to the United Nations High-level Advisory Board (HLAB) on Economic and Social Affairs for its third term, beginning in Spring 2025.  Established in 2018 as part of the United Nations development system reform, the HLAB plays a critical role in supporting UN Member States as they work toward achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Board is composed of globally respected experts in economic and social policy, Professor Fu’s expertise in innovation, industrial development, and inclusive growth will contribute significantly to the Board’s mission of advancing the UN’s economic and social agenda.
