Launch of the Nature’s Intelligence Studio

At COP30, the TIDE Centre launched the Nature’s Intelligence Studio, a new initiative designed to bridge biodiversity, innovation, and development. The Studio is grounded in the idea that nature represents a vast source of inspiration for solutions, particularly in biodiverse regions of the Global South, for energy, industrial, and technological challenges.
The Studio’s initial focus is on Latin America and the Caribbean and includes projects such as the Energy Atlas of Nature’s Solutions, the Nature’s Intelligence Ideathon, and work on legal frameworks to ensure fair benefit-sharing with communities. By bringing together economists, biologists, technologists, and policymakers, the Studio aims to support bio-inspired innovation ecosystems that protect biodiversity while creating new development pathways.
