CLEITON OLIVEIRA

Cleiton is an engineer and energy specialist, and a Chevening and Lemann Foundation Scholar in the MSc in Energy Systems at the University of Oxford, where his research focuses on the intersection between investments in new energy technologies and green industrial policy. He has over seven years of experience in renewable energy business development across Brazil and Latin America, with a strong focus on large-scale project development and investment strategy.

He has experience leading the development of over 10 GW of energy projects and working on billion-dollar energy portfolios, including wind, solar, hydro, BESS, offshore wind and green hydrogen. Cleiton has held roles at Eletrobras, China Three Gorges (CTG), and EDP, where he worked across business, regulatory, engineering, social, and environmental licensing processes, contributing to the delivery of large-scale projects that help accelerate the energy transition.
